Graduate Assistant, Specialty Program Logistics

  • a member of the conventions and conferences team, I organize and manage ISA’s specialty programming logistics for their annual convention. Responsibilities include planning and execution of program activities and logistical needs leading up to in-person conferences; regular communication with ISA leadership teams and ISA conference participants and sponsors.

  • Regularly collaborates with colleagues on association-related projects, like developing marketing materials, website management, printed program materials, catering, exhibit hall management, and other projects and work as necessary.

Contributing Writer

  • At GlacierHub, I researched and wrote articles leveraging various resources, including academic journals, non-peer-reviewed articles, and interviews, which focused on glacial health and the secondary impacts of glacial change. I contributed articles designed to be accessible and effectively communicate glacial change for a diverse, global audience.

Horse Warriors 2016

Assistant Director and Educator

  • I have been actively involved with the Horse Warriors program since April 2009, when I started as an Intern. This program is an equine-based empowerment program for children 6-18 based in Jackson, Wyoming. Students learn to teach and model safe, healthy development of personal boundaries, clear communication, creative self-expression, exploration of feelings, and positive interactions between themselves and their parents.

  • My responsibilities included general ranch management, lesson planning, logistical operations, teaching horsemanship and horse safety, and mentoring.

IRONMAN 2013-2015

Sustainability Manager

  • At IRONMAN, I was responsible for researching, developing, and implementing a sustainability program with long-term goals of standardizing procedures across all IRONMAN, IRONMAN 70.3, and Iron Girl events. I increased sustainability initiatives by developing a marketing and branding strategy. Further promoted awareness through the development of critical partnerships and worked with primary event sponsors to collect event data to develop realistic infrastructure that would fit into the IRONMAN event platform. Served as the single point of contact for all sustainability-related questions and initiatives for World Triathlon Corporation.
